Doily Lace Edge Paper Flower Using Martha Stewart Crafts Punch

Aside from the punch, all supplies are from Close to My Heart
This has to be one of my favorite paper flowers.  It was made using two pieces of B & T paper cut into 12" strips.  One is 1" wide, the other is 1 1/2" wide.  The strips were scored and folded at each peak and valley.

Martha Stewart edge punches are easy to use and give really lovely results.
(I should probably mention that I'm not affiliated with Martha Stewart, EK Success or any other edge punch company.  There is no financial motive for me to share this information. Actually, in the name of research, it will probably cost me a whole lot more to continue to post my findings! :-)  It's a good thing my dh doesn't read my blog!)

Two rosettes layered together prior to hot gluing.
The embellishments on this flower are made from ribbon and a ribbon slide and glued down with a 3-D glue dot.

  2. Have you tried making any of the rosettes larger? If so what was the size of the strips of paper you used and how big was the rosette? I would like to make one for a larger bag. Thanks.
