Shabby Chic Card

Spellbinders Label Twenty - Four Layer Center Focal
If you are a fan of Shabby Chic, you might like today's card.  There are two background layers on the card base, two different ribbons, two paper strips and then the four layer center!  Add some pearls, layered butterflies, studs and a charm along with lots of distressing and you have a vintage-y card.
CTMH Flutter Paper Shape Colored With Twilight Marker Layered Over a Studio Calico Chipboard Butterfly
I needed to make a card that can be mailed in a regular envelope, but I didn't want to sacrifice beauty for functionality.  The butterfly pictured above will flatten out because only the center section is adhered to the chipboard butterfly.  With the little pearls running through the center, it is the deepest component on the entire card, but will still easily slide into an envelope.
CTMH  Metal Timeless Charm
Sewing on cards and layouts always adds another fun dimension to the finished product.  I sewed the paper strip on the left-hand side of the card and the strip running down the middle.  The ribbon and ribbon/lace were adhered with Tombow Monoadhesive.
5 x 7 Card
This is the first time that I had used this set of stamps from Just Rite.  I love how they fit perfectly with the Spellbinders die templates!  They are cling stamps and worked just great on my CTMH Acrylix Blocks.
