Frosted Designs Twine and Ribbon Challenge

Paint Splattered On Textured Honey Cardstock
Thank you for visiting today!  Frosted Designs has a fun challenge beginning today using twine and/or ribbon.  Please join us by making a card, layout or off the page project and link it up here.

Dresses Cut From Cricut Artiste Cartridge
On this layout, I used white baker's twine to string a clothesline. I love these cute little clothespins! It was nice to finally be able to use them, after having stored them for years.  Yellow baker's twine was wrapped around the bottom of the picture with a piece of yellow hemp.  I used three different alphabets for the title.  A little bit of journaling is on the half-circle/wheel.

Country Life Embossed Card

Tim Holtz Texture Fades Bricked and Woodgrain used on Base and  First Layer
It has been awhile since I made a card for my dh, just because.  He likes cows for some reason and I love this stamp set - voila, the process is in motion!  As soon as that was decided, I knew that I would use Barn Red cardstock under the sticky backed canvas stamped image.  The white core cardstock looks so cool when it is embossed and sanded.  It is one of my favorite things to do with embossing folders.

The Tim Holtz Texture Fades folders come with two different designs in a package.  It seemed like a waste not to use the woodgrain one since it was already out of the package.  So I ran the natural cardstock base through the Cuttlebug with that one.  After distressing the edges, inking and tying a piece of jute to the card, it was just about done.  The last little step was to add some antiqued copper brads and a photo clip. A fast and easy card for my dh, who deserves to know how much I appreciate him, even though he doesn't always get a card! :-)

CTMH Remarkable Wreath Card

Leaves cut with Silhouette Cameo
I love the versatility of this stamp set.  The twig wreath was stamped on sticky backed canvas using CTMH Chocolate ink.  The Happy (tag,) the banner and the berries were stamped using CTMH Cranberry ink.
There is a piece of rough twine tied into a bow and adhered on top of the wreath.

Claudine Hellmuth Studio Sticky Back Canvas Layered on Card Front
This was a fast and easy card, but I still like how it turned out.  It is rustic, Autumnal and filled with Thanks!

The papers are all from CTMH or my stash.  The card base is CTMH's Barn Red.
